Ball of Wax

Bret Packard (Mark Mench) is rich, famous, handsome and the best baseball player in the world. But he’s also bored of winning, bored of adoration, and bored of the predictability of the National Pastime. So Bret concocts a fiendish plan: he turns his teammates against one another in twisted, depraved battles, transforming the game into a blood sport and destroying each player’s life. As the malevolent puppet master, Bret lures each teammate with promises of power, money or sex. The result is a fevered nightmare of paranoia, jealousy and greed that threatens to rip apart the sanity of Bret’s teammates and family…as well as the entire game of baseball.
